LCD Internally Cracked - Repair?

hey guys n gals. just wanted to share the effects of a car seat rolling over your psp. don't try at home:



so anyways, from anyone who has experience in this matter, my lcd is cracked obviously but not the outer part of the screen. the break seems to be inside the screen. also the unit appears to be totally unaffected; it boots up, and i can hear sounds and enter games with no problem besides not being able to see them. so what parts exactly do i need to purchase to repair the unit? i've already looked up replacement lcds and they seem to all run around $40. should i go ahead and purchase the whole screen, backlight and all, and call it a day? please help

yeah i already found all the videos and guides i need to replace the lcd. i just wasn't sure i needed to replace the whole thing or if there was something i needed to replace in addition to the screen also. well wish me luck

Best of luck bro! Easy to replace the LCD. Done it MANY times. Once you've tried it the first time, the next time (and I pray there won't be a next time), you fly through it qwuickry!

Yes, you should get it as soon as possible. :-) Usually you can find them on eBay from US sellers for $35 shipped.
