Default Magic Memory Card Problem

In Midian's Guide at pspmod.com/forums/psp-hardware-guides/23428-guide-making-pandoras-battery-new-method.html (can't post URLs till 15 posts...), I get this error during Process #3, Step 8.

Check free reserved sector:to small reserved sectors

I'm using both a 1GB and 2GB SanDick PRO DUO
I placed it into the PSP, then went into USB mode.
I first formatted in FAT32, then used the mspformat to format again.
I took out the memory stick, went out of USB mode, placed it in again, then went into USB mode once more
Then I installed the universal unbrick files onto the memory stick.
After that, I try and do process #3 on Midian's guide.

Can anyone help me so I can do the Y/N option and finally finish my magic memory stick?
