well, here's teh shitty part, i got teh drive, but....they sent teh wrong one, they sent me the 20GB version with the ZIF socket instead of the one with teh standard 44pin ATA socket, i'm looking at pinouts to see if it will work but i have no idea how to make ZIF cables |

ah i get it, so does that mean taht we can connect the pins directly to the ms slot, or are we still going to need a device in between to interface it? |

my rep is going to RMA the drive for me, using ZIF is maybe something to try later, btu right now, its going to be hard enough with ATA, so that is where i will start |

You still need drivers for the psp to recognize the hard drive, and since they're no hard drivers in the first place I don't see this going much further. Hardware is easy to come up with, but it's always a software issue in the end. |

This is a really interesting idea..... curious how much heat it'll generate.....
If it worked, though, this might be one of the next big hacks, lol... |

well, right now i'm using standard 1.8" drives, once it works we could change it into SSD drives, for 0 heat, 0 vibration |
