Interesting so the drive is going to be built inside of the psp instead of using a ms to cf card reader.

why dont you hard wire it into the ms slot cause if you hard wire it into the psp internal memory itll be stupid because the psp internal memory is for running the psp unnaccessable through the xmb for games and such, so why dont you hard wire it into the psp mem slot???

OK note number 1 USE THE SEARCH BUTTON
2 USE THE SEARCH BUTTON
3 REFER TO NOTES 1 OR 2

i have already posted all information about this already to include pinouts needed and everything i just do not have the means to do it at the present moment the 1.8" Toshiba HDD uses a modified CF pinout, datel makes a 4gb drive for the psp which is just a CF to MS adapter if you take that into account you can modify the pinout of the adapter for the hard drive and BAM there you go. Sony also makes a adapter as do a few others. Note back to begening of this post use the SEARCH button it makes life easier if you are too lazy here is the link well not a link so much as the url of the pspmod page

apparently you just wnat a post number because unless you have something productive to post here please refrain from snide remarks such as "use the search button" this post is fro the R&D of this device, and unless you plan to shit out a hard drive for the psp community i'd would liek it if you either shut the fuck up, or say something helpful. If you don't like the fact i'm doing this, thats all you, but i have several people counting on me to do this. the 1.8" drive is NOT a CF layout its a standard 44 pin layout or a ZIF layout, which conforms to ATA6 specifications. I'm a systems and network engineer/admin, i think i am aware of what i'm working with, sorry if this post seems like a bashing but I hear all to often of people trying to squash great ideas. I WILL finish this and it WILL work!
