while i open the psp it sparks.... then the battery warms up a bit but it still work in the psp
shal i go on with open it?

I assume you mean you're opening the Battery to hardmod it.

If the battery sparks, I would say you knicked the foil covering for the battery when you cut it open such that it made an unplanned contact with the circuit board. That's bad. I'm not an expert on how bad, but I do know that you are assuming a risk if you use it.

i dont understand what u say^^ caus i am bad in england... but here the whole story:

i try to open the akku with a carpet knife... suddenly sparks come outside from a place where i was with the knife atm... it smokes a bit and it warms up... but it still works in the psp....

shal i make it pandora and let it? than i can buy a new akku

what is the worst what can happen if i still use it? explode? O_O
its just a lil cut...

akku is bad - it might work for a little while. You have nothing to lose to go ahead and use it. It might get hot and catch fire. You risk it. I would buy another akku.

i go into a shop... they said me there is no akku for slim yet....

if i put my hand on it all the time while downgrading... and if it goes to hot i can put it out or? but while downgrading.,..? isnt it bad?

i tryed it and it worked... i downgrade the psp and install 3.75 m33... but i cant update it caus not enough battery^^ i have to wait till i have a new one :S

tq jayL. i have fully brick my psp slim yesterday. i got a headache and cant sleep well.with this i hope i can make a pandora batt without using my friend psp(that to complicated to ask him).but you sure i can use made in japan batt??i have read about pandora-proof for made in japan batt.i dont have too much money to buy another sony original batt.hope you will answer me

I see you wraped up the battery using rubber band .......... Does it fit back in the psp well ???

If you have a 1200 mAh, Made in Japan battery, it should work ........ New 1800 mAh battery seems to be pandora proof but i'm not sure
