Default How-To: Switchable Pandora PSP-Slim Battery (Hard-Mod)

Battery turning Hot is not a very good sign..... But inspite of that, Is your battery Ok ??,..... If it is then you can give another try.... If you are unable to solder the point you can try using tape to hold the wire in place... A guy at maxconsole tried it and it worked... He posted few pics,.. have a look at them and see whether you can do it,... here's the link CFW 3.71 M33 onto SLIM (3.60), no Soldering, Cutting or PSP Fat - MaxConsole Forums
..... If it works i will suggest not to continue using the battery further.. cos you never know with a over-heating battery,... Use power adaptor till you get enough cash to buy a new battery

EDIT

can i use a clone battery to make a pandora with my original battery electronic parts??
You can also make pandora battery by scratching the copper trace ..... You can find info on that in this tread http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-har...ery-guide.html (Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide) ..... (Scroll Down To psp slim battery section & Read the lines marked in red carefully) ...... After you are done with the mod you can retrace the line with a pencil to make it normal .... Or even if the battery does not turns back to normal you can always use Dark Alex's time machine software or Booster's Multiloader IPL to use your pandora battery as normal

I'm not sure but it think you can if you unmod your battery first ..... If you have earlier modded your battery by lifting the pin then you'll have to resolder it back in the place .......... Or if you have done it by scratching the copper trace then you'll have to retrace it by a pencil

Yep,.... It'll be just like playing PS2 .......... Dont worry nothing will go wrong playing you psp with power adaptor only...... When i'm at home i take out the battery and play using the power adaptor only cos it reduces psp's weight and it becomes comfortable playing for long hours,... I have played like this for 5 - 6 hours stretch without any problem

If there would have been any ill effects playing psp with only power adaptor, then i think Sony would have written the warning note on the Manual

Great tutorial! Especially the pics! Not enough tutorials have pics in them. This tut should be a sticky. But add a tut for the Fat battery in it.
