How do I open my PSP battery up?
i have read of people using guitar picks, which is a good idea as it is plastic so it wont short out your battery if you get to deep with a metal screwdriver...but it is prolly harder to get a guitar pick in deep enough to pop it open. |

How do I open my PSP battery up?
I don't understand how people short their batteries so easily. I have used my mini screwdriver to open about 10 or so batteries now and have had no problems.

Just don't do what I did.
Ask your father to help...who will actually end up just wasting your 47 dollars and lighting the thing on fire..
That goes for anyone... |

How do I open my PSP battery up?
using a pick or a flathead may be ok but not so neat.
i used a cutter on mine. gently slice the ridges repeatedly on the three straight sides of the battery, thinning the ridges that attach the two pieces of the battery cover. check if you have sliced enough by applying pressure on the sides of the battery, you'll feel the sides giving in. slice a little more, gently ok, don't apply too much pressure while cutting or you'll cut the innards of the battery.
when you think have cut enough, press on the sides of the battery and you'll hear the plastic pop or crack from the pressure. you may then use a small card or a guitar pick to fully separate the cover.
et voila! |

Last I heard they were taking 2 or 3 months to ship out or something. I don't remember exactly but I know they have very serious shipping issues. Good luck.

How do I open my PSP battery up?
I ordered it from divineo.com I know I posted the exact link for it somewhere around here. It said on the site that it ships within 24 hours and that it was in stock. I read about them taking forever to ship tho....i am hoping that this place has there act together tho...
edit, found my post with the link to the battery in it. Divineo.com - Product Information
btw thinpsp, if i end up waiting on this for a long time...how much would it cost me to get you to buy a batt, pandora it for me, and then send it to me? lol.

Is there any way to fix a shorted battery, because I think that's what I did.
