Default slim vs fat, help.

I was reading up on the slim psp and found out that it has 64mb memory as opposed to the 32mb memory in the original fat one. does this mean that certain emulators and homebrew software will run faster on the slim and not the fat one? help me out. thanks and later then.

I think I read that the extra memory in the slim was to speed up game play when playing umd discs, speeding up loading times and having more memory to allocate saves the waiting time.

So no, emulators or homebrew wont run any faster on a slim.

that's good to know, I was actually thinking about selling my fat one to get a slim because of the extra memory thinking it was going to be used as more. One more think that it will be used for is to make it Voip/skype capable.
