Default Problems Installing CFW

Recently, I have gotten my Datel Tool Battery from the mail. I have been following a guide to create the MMS and to install the CFW. However, I have tried over and over to be able to install the CFW. I have tried putting in the MMS first, then the datel tool battery, and also have tried putting the Battery first, then the MMS. The green light goes on when i put the battery in, but the orange LED light doesn't show up at all.Thing is, nothing seems to be working. I have tried recreating the memory stick many times.

Please help

you put the ms in first, and then the battery.

I have tried that, many times. Doesn't seem to be working. I have also tried vice-versa, battery first then MMS

Are you using the original memory stick or fake one ......... Many a times it wont work with fake ........ And also try using TOTAL NEWBIE EASY PANDORA INSTALLER to create Magic Memory Stick ....... Just search for 14749_TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu.rar in google and you will find the download location

use Catb50's installer...its easy and it does the work for you...no matter if you have a phat or slim psp, also it will update you to 3.8 m33 (unlike TOTALNEWbi), his installer is on this site...just search for it, and download the FULL one...or it could be your memory stick is it SanDisk or Sony?

EDIT: also you may wanna try and use one no smaller than 256mb, but no bigger than 4gb..

well find that CatB50 installer (http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-sof...full-lite.html ([RELEASE] Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator v2.0 FULL & LITE)) and use the FULL installer, after you have the mahgic memory stick, turn you psp completely off, insert the MMS, then the battery, it should automatically come on, and your memory stick and wifi lights should blink (you know you got it working then) then just press X to install 3.8 m33...and you have CFW!

if your psp is slim, try holding the L trigger then put the pan batt.
or
redo the mms.
or
use other mms creator.

I used CatB50's installer and it did not recognizemspformat or the msinst files so none were copied. It also did not find the ms_root file either. Anyone know why it is displaying that? At the end though it says I have created the mms. But when you look at the psp on my computer there are no files?
