Default Pandora's/Magic mem stick Questions?

If I make Pandoras battery do I have to have a magic mem stick to use with it? If so is there a guide that shows how to make pandoras battery without hardmodding the battery? How do you make a magic mem stick with out any previous downgrade or cfw?
Thanks(Im new to this)

You need to have a MMS to use with your pandora battery. You can make a softmod pandora battery using a CFW psp. But if you dont have one. Youl have to hard Mod the battery. As for the MMS you can follow one of the many guides available up above on the GUIDES section to create one.

Default Pandora's/Magic mem stick Questions?

Dude, if you know anyone with custom firmware installed you can softmod the battery with U.P.M.S. (PSP based program). This program will back-up and restore your battery back to normal as well as create the pandora. It is also capable of installing custom firmware 3.52 M33, 3.71 M33 and 3.80 M33. Get this program at UPMS-project.com. There are also tutorials there on how to use the program.

Of course, not everyone has someone that has a hacked PSP... You can buy a pandora battery (Datel TOOL Battery-Service Mod Battery) at codejunkies.com for $32.46 with shipping and taxes included. You will not find anything less expensive, trust me!!!

After you have your pandora you will need a Magic Memory stick. You can use U.P.M.S for this but you need a hacked PSP. The easier way is using Total Newbie Easy Installer (you will not believe how easy this is... lol). You can get this at dl.qj.net. The file is a little over 135mb.

I'd give you direct links but I need 15 post to do so... SORRY!!! Just search for these files on those websites.

Default Pandora's/Magic mem stick Questions?

Ive pulled the battery apart and pulled the pin stated. When I put the battery in the psp the green power light came on and stayed on, with none of the buttons working. Am I on the right track to start doing my mms?

if youre reffering to the msinst utility which is doe through the command line, all it does is make the memory stick bootable when you have your pandora battery in your psp to unbrick it or install cfw.

if thats not what youre referring to, well, i tried my best

If you have a bricked PSP you will not be able to access the memory stick through USB (obviously!) BUT!!! You can use camera that runs the same stick. I have a Sony Camera and I am able to do this through it (not that I need to- I just tested). You only need to specify what drive you want to install to.

You don't need custom firmware to install TotalnOObieasyInstaller.

I can now post links so here they are

To download Total Noob Installer:
File Details-TOTALNewbi-easyInstaller-PSP-Tools-Utilities-(on-PC) -

To download U.P.M.S.
UPMSProject : Work Board 1.4.0

even if a battery is pandoraed you can still use it if you pull it out connect your psp to the wall charger and turn it on. it will start up. the put your battery in pull the cord out and your good to go. dont put it on sleep. you must boot with the cord each time

Ive made the battery by pulling the pin off the battery and used the noob installer for the mms, but when i try to play the Despertar under the games section it reads 'the game could not be started (80020148)'' with the pandora in. Any suggestion?
Thanks
