Default Future Upgrading Firmware?

Can you upgrade from 3.71M33 to 3.9M33 on the PSP Slim without any need of the Pandora's battery? Or is the Pandora's battery required every time a new custom firmware comes out and you want to upgrade it?

I want to know if I can just throw out my Pandora's battery after using it to downgrade to 3.71M33

Also after downgrading initially to custom firmware, can I just reformat my "Magic Memory Stick" back to a normal one and copy ISOs and CSOs to play it? Or am I forced to use the Magic memory Stick everytime I want to play games off of my memory stick?

I'm pretty sure you don't need a pandora's battery to update, but if you already have one, why would you want to throw it out? Keep it just incase your psp bricks. Regarding the memory stick, you can keep the magic memory stick files on the memory stick, or you can delete them. Either way, you can put ISO's and CSOs on it.

Why the hell would you throw it out.

Keep it incase you brick, otherwise you'll have to waste another $30 to unbrick your psp.

And to answer your question yes, download 3.90M33 and read the readme.
