Green Light Only

can anyone help me with my psp?!?!

when i turn it on the green light just open....

but no display....

what is the possible solution?

ok is your psp modded or unmodded?
if its modded, chances are its bricked
if its unmodded probably something wrong with the hardware

do you only have a pandora battery

That all depends.

Is this when you have a pandora battery in?

Or is this with a normal battery?

Also, was it running Custom Firmware?

If so, what were you doing with it before this happened?

i am using a normal battery.....

i dropped it and when i opened it no display at all just a green light...

Is the screen cracked? Or is something loose if you shake it ?

you dropped it?? wow there could be a bunch of things wrong then lol you need to give more details man. like does it turn off after a while? what happens if you have a bootable memory card inside? usally when only the green light comes on it means your psp is booting in service mode or your flash is messed up (hope you got a nand backup lol) butif it was working fine before you dropped it then....i dunno you gotta put more details

it's maybe a hardware problem coz he dropped it. he still doesn't answer if his psp is modded or anything like that.

Start your psp.

When you only see the green light take out your memory stick.

Then put it back into your psp and you will get a new screen.

Dont forget to press the right trigger,.

if there is a hardware issue or the PSP is totally bricked, trying to go to the recovery menu won't work.

my is modded when i use my pandora the update is not found. can i use a normal cfw update 1.5

I have the same problem and also I dropped my PSP
I tried modding it...with Pandora..here are the details

I tried with only normal battary/only AC line/both of them....green light turns on and off within a sec (it charges though..light turns to amber)...some the light turns on for few sec but nothing on display.

May be it's a display connection right..but yesterday at night it got dsplay with pandora and even I could flash it to 3.90 M33-3
It worked and fired up normally..but as soon as I`m going to play a game from memory stick...it hanged randomly...so the display is ok then.

The may be it's with memory chips...well I don't know cause I didn't opened it yet. I tried all the combination. All the memory card or battery I used to test it worked fine on my another PSP.

Again Pandora doesn't come on either after that..only the green light lits up and no flashing of memory read light or wifi light.
