Default Newer battery question.

I have an older battery from when the PSP first came out. If I use the older battery for Pandora and a newer battery for just average use is that safe? or will I need to use an older battery still to run homebrew.

yea, id use my older battery for pandora over my newer battery.

i guess i mean will i brick my psp if i use a newer battery (for general use) once i pandorized the older battery. will the newer battery kill code or custom firmware on my psp?
