psp 2002 pandora-ing help

ok i have simpsons psp 2002, and i have a hard modded pandoras battery (the one that came with the psp originally and i just cut the track). and i have got a magic memory stick by using psp grader lite and followed the instructions from some guide.
now when i plug it in the green light comes on, blank screen nothing else.
ive read you hold L to fix this.
tried that with same results.

i was wondering if anyone could help me with this please

EDIT: psp is currently unmodded and unbricked (i put my other battery in to test it and it still boots up and such)
EDIT 2: has orig version 3.8 firmware on it if it makes a difference

I have a similar problem to you i think..

I have 2 x slim psps (psp2003) and used 2xsoft modded batteries created on my phat CFW, placed into the slims and orange light comes up.. power on and off does nothing.

the battery when placed in a phat gets me to the pandora battery recovery menu..

hey guys would you be using a phat or slim batteries? some new slim batteries are harder to mod and some dont work fyi

im using the original slim battery that came with it

well it maybe that youre battery is fixed so that it dosent go into service mode, witch it needs too, i would suggest that you look up the pandora battery making guide in this forum to see if this will work for your battery

well there we have it... psp grader was the problem apparently.
i used another tutorial that was on this site and it is currently installing the firmware... lots of pretty colors

I had the same exact problem but I just pushed X and it started doing pandora anyways. Then I just did something like watch a youtube video of Pandora being used and I read the instructions off the video, its not that hard I was just taking it safe but it worked and thats how I unbricked my psp ^_^
