Question tv on psp

Hi everybody,

I am pretty new on this forum, i just want to know if this mod is possible or not....

Is it possible plugging an usb tv tuner to the psp port?
we would need an adapter psp to the key...

Then there's software issue... can't someone program a homebrew piloting the key?? Maybe for some reason, have to rewrite the key's chip?? and Is it possible?

I am just curious (hope i am not a troll)
i am a biggg noob in electronics so well... can just have the idea!!!

Thanks for answering!!

it could be possible to do what you're talking about raphys, maybe one of Pinnacles usb t.v tuners, But then you get into the problem like you stated. Coming up with software to control it. Because iirc its not open source, which would make it even harder.

thanks for answering,

well actually i do know about the japanese tv tuner, but isn t compactible in Europe, US.

For location free player if you wanna watch it away from home, you ll still need o f a hot spot which you may not find everywhere...
And of course location free player is not available in Europe...

As we don t know if a tv tuner is under preparation for europe or US, I think it could be a nice idea to develop it...

There plenty of talented software developer, I am sure it can be possible to gather people around for this project...
