Default "Usb device Not Recognized"

Before anything, try it in a friend's computer. If that fails, then maybe it's the PSP

I've had the same problem before, it only happens when I cancel a transfer on my pc. All I do is reset my pc and it works again, although i would assume you've already tried this. sorry

Ok, are you running any of the service packs available for Windows XP, Service Pack 1a actually introduced a more stable USB 2.0 driver that worked with all USB 2.0 devices.

LOL OMG. oh geezus. I actually fix pc's for a living and have modded mass storage drivers before. All you had to do (most likely) is 1) right click "my computer" 2) click properties 3) click the hardware tab 4) click device manager 5) find the "unknown device" which is under the "Unknown" section and remove it 5) plug your psp back in (with the drivers already installed beforehand) and let it re set it up. This is a common error with printers and other usb devices when you plug in the hardware before installing the drivers. Hope that helps. good luck.
