PSP Slim [Problem] Doesnt enter recovery mode!?

Ive tried several times, and my psp slim does not enter recovery mode.

Ive done Hold R, turn on while holding the power button up, psp just shuts down immediately.

Ive done press power, then hold R, nothing happens, or it shuts off?

Wtf is going on here?

do you even have custom firmware installed?

recovery mode only works on a psp with cfw. and do you have 2 psps. because according to your firmware, youre on 1.5 which cant happen on a slim

The psp phat i ordered never came, so i have to change my firmware.

Im fucked atm, i have 3.80, and do not know anyone with a psp phat, and since i cant hard mod my slim, im not sure what to do.

You can hardmod a slim too. I just did my Star Wars version, you can even use the pandora'd battery afterwards with a little manipulation. Nobody is going to walk you through the process step by step, but I will tell you to go to the guides section and look up pandora slim.
