Want to Mod Psp

Hey I want to mod my psp slim the Grey one to be able to play downloaded games on it. I am wondering is it hard to do? And what all do i need to do it? Is there a good tuturail with the files some were on how to do it? I don't know how to mod a psp but i do soft mod xbox's but thats way different.. All help is appreciated.

welcome to psp mods m8.

its easy to mod your psp
first you need a pandora battery or a datel tool battery. whichever you prefer. then you need to find a magic memory stick maker that installs the custom firmware of your choice. any CFW can play "downloaded" or iso/cso backups of games. you just stick the files in the ISO folder on the root of the memory stick

a word of advice though, dont go asking around here for links to download games. its illegal and isn't supported here.

Thanks. I was searching around and i was reading i have to cutt my battery open.. I really dont wont to do this. Is there any other way i can do it without havening to cutt my battery open? And will the battery last just as long?

I kno i dont ask were to download games i already have good places

okay, good for you on that last part.

as for the battery. if you know someone with a pandora battery that lives near you, use theirs. otherwise you'll have to cut your battery open (which is very east btw) or you can buy a datel tool battery. they are premade pandora's.

on side note, i cut my battery open and it still holds a full charge, and sometimes i get 9-11 hours of battery life if i change my CPU clock.

Alright soo basically i just need that battery to mod my psp. Then when its modded i can use my regular battery. I have a friend with a modded psp i might ask to use his battery.

okay. just to let you know, typical datel tool batteries are ORANGE. and if he has a pandora's battery, he might have a program to make a MMS, or just have a MMS lieing around. dont forget the stick though. you gotta put teh stick in before you put the battery in.

Hmm Ok.. I am confused. Soo i can use the Pandora battery just to mod my psp then i can use the regular battery? I also have the Slim Grey psp. I was going to try to make the Pandora battery but when i was open the battery i smell and saw a little fuse of smoke soo i stopped before i screwed something up

a small fuse of smoke means you messed up... and yes, once you use pandora on it, you can use a reg battery.

Ahh dam.. But the psp still works because once i seen that i STOP. I am going to let my Asian friend do it for me for I want screw nothing up big time

hey man did you ever get you're pandora battery cuz im havoing one shiped to me with a modded psp i traided and old 360 for it and well depending on where you live i can help you out with this im a truck driver and go everywhere if you dont trust people than just do a searech for pandora battery's for sale on google and allways remember google is ur best friend i have found so many things about modding just from google it just depends on how you phrase it but if you need any help at all email me at jingram20@gmail.com i am kinda new to all this modded and custom firmware but im starting to do it all i got videos and everything and im modding my 360 with everything i can find including water cooling so hit me up if you need any help at all and all ways remember that google is ur best friend and if it dont give you what you want than rephrase it

naw man i was just explaining how i got my pandora battery and i understand but you no it is anoying when people spam everyone should no how to do these things that way if they have a problem they can fix it and thats y i put google in there as well google helped me learn about everything i need to no about modding anything like my 360 and my psp

Dammm the battery cant hold a charge now. And the psp was my brothers

Is there anyway i can fix this without haven to buy another battery?
