psp turns on and off by its self help plz

i know i dont post like im supposed to thats cuz i figure every thing out my self. but im stuck on this one cant figure out why it turns on and off by its self and its not the battery ive tried 3 other ones

Its most probably your battery that keeps falling out of contact with the metal things where your psp recieves its power. Clean your battery section of the psp. Try with a different battery if possible. Same thing? Try the battery with a different psp. Same thing? Experiment and test.

The same thing was happening with my new PSP Slim and I was sketched out that it was the Pandora battery or CFW, but I formatted my memory stick and the issue stopped occurring. Aside from that, I'd treat it like any other electronic. Check the connectors and give it a good cleaning. Drain the battery and fully charge it if you have the chance. I always drain my rechargeable batteries every few months and it really helps to prolong battery life.

I had a psp that turns on and off when ever I tried to start a umd. Found out that when I was try to run the UMD the psp get a little warm, so I open it up and turns out the CPU overheats and turns off the psp.

I dont know if that is the same with yours but might want to check that out. If you still have warrantee send it back to sony.

sometimes when i use le net on my fat, the text when i type messes up, my psp restarts, and i get"press circle to fix corrupt files" and then it works for another 1 hour or so. ideas??

i know for sure it isnt my battery cuz i took the battery out and put it on ac and it still did the same thing
