Help NOOB!!
I just got my first PSP yesterday, the Daxter bundle. I tried all day to get the thing modded w/cfw. I think I have the battery right, just can't get the magic memory stick part. Near the end of the memory stick process I receive the reserved sector to small error.
I have used easy installers and manual installers both. The only thing that I can think of, is that I don't have a usb cable for my psp so I have just been using the memory stick in my pc slot. Is that the reason it isn't working, and if so could you explain why. Thanks in advance for any help |

Help NOOB!!
Sorry, I know I'm not supposed to double post. But I didn't know if anyone would look if I just edited the post since 18 people have looked and none answered. I went to a friends house and used PC with XP. It wrote the files to the MMS. Now the only problem I have is getting the CFW to load, I have the MMS in then put in the PB but the normal screen loads everytime. What am I doing wrong? Please Help. |

put the batt. in without the MMS & if the screen shows the stock XMB it's your batt., it should have a green power light & a black screen,if not then redo the batt. & try again |

okay, I took the memory stick out. Took the battery out, put the battery back in and turned on the psp, booted up to the stock xmb. So since it's the battery, just how hard do you have to push to cut the circuit I have "traced back and forth numerous times w/knife. Also tried cutting the pin but apparently not good enough |

I did, I used a few different ones. It kept getting the sector to small error. I'm not saying it doesn't work on Vistav I love Vista and wish that I could have got it to work. Just easier on XP I guess. But I wanted to thank you guys who respond and made this site what it is, now I'm off to play FF:Anniversary till my bigger MS gets here so I can play Crisis Core. |
