Question Missing piece

Uh, hi everybody. I have a slight problem.., I'm hoping someone can help. (not sure if this is the correct spot to put this though)

This morning there was a dead spot on my psp's screen (just a blob of 'dead' pixels), and when I took it apart to look at the screen; though from there I'd already dis/reconnected the connections, turned it back on and the spot was gone. But it is a used PSP, so I went ahead and ordered a new screen for it.

Anyway, not my problem. It started after all this when a screw got hung on something, somehow, and didn't want to come out..., resulting in itself getting snipped off as there was no way to get it out without just stripping the screw.

When I got it all back together, the screen was fitting normal again, the blob was gone.., then I noticed the arrows and buttons weren't as springy as they were before and seemed to be missing the pad underneath. Then I found this little clear piece I'm thinking fell out from somewhere and I didn't see it; though I have no idea in hell where it's suppose to go!

Here's a picture of it:

Can anyone help?
