Sony's Extended Warranty

I've been pretty successful in getting my hands on 1.5 psps around NYC. If you guys need one let me know.

One of the more amusing purchases was the demo unit at the Sony store. None of the staff could work out why I wanted the banged up unit on display (it was a 1.5).

Anyway, got the extended warranty on it, and find out now that I have a problem with the d-pad. They said that instead of fixing your psp, they will just send you a new one.

All very nice, but that means you'll probably get a psp that is 2.6 or so.

BEWARE!

Exactly..my LCD screen got fucked up and guess waht..i got 2.5!!(latest firmware at the time)..tahts the only thing that sucks about getting a new Sony PSP from Sony..try to stay away from their exchanges as much as possible

lol wat if u send them psp with slight dent at top of LCD would they exchange cuz i dont care all that much if i go from 2.0 to 2.5 cuz that dent is bothering me

I got my PSP at Best Buy, version "G" (read the topic about barcodes and fw versions)
and I went to Wal-Mart, and looked in the galss case, and they had all "B" and "C"....I was pissed, but oh well.

So my point is, Get a PSP at Wal-Mart. I'm pretty sure they have extended warranty's
