Unless they redesign the battery, there will always be jigkicks. And redesigning the battery means alot of money issuing new batteries to people and possibly redesigned hardware on the PSP which would cost them their already shakey place in the handheld market.
Even if they were to risk losing the handheld market to Nintendo, there are enough modders to find the way to pandorize the battery. |

Sony can't put an end to hardmodding unless they release the PSP as a seperate system again, like they did with the Slim, except change the booting method of the PSP so that it boots from an internal flash card that's shared with a vital system file.
Otherwise, hardmodding will NEVER be impossible. If I ever have the money to toss around, I might try to find a point on one of these that you can drill out with a 16" drill bit. Certainly, it would be risky (don't get the coordinates right, you fry it; drill too deep and you puncture the battery), but it wouldn't be impossible. Besides that, Pandoras are so abundant now, it's a moot point. |

Umm when you heat up a battery does it explode coz omg I was scared I was gonna blow my hand off when I made my Pandoras battery=.=
Also even so, sony has made to many flaws to get back up on its feet, I dont really know why they are competing with Dark_Alex or any other hacker... If I were Sony i'de kidnap them and make them work for me LoL
Sony aint gonna be as what it use to, thats why ps3 was changed so much roffle |
