ok, i dropped my psp like 2 1/2 feet onto a wooden floor MS and battery popped out and now my MS slot will not "click" and house sticks (i'm working on that) nor will it boot, it just turns on (green light) but does not turn back off. just curious what do yall think happened?

You most likely have to take it apart & do a visual inspection for broken parts.
Make sure you use a proper philips screwdriver ,the screws are small & strip easy.Here are some links

thanx! i'm not too noobish so i shouldnt have too many problems with that, i'll be working on this for a while (very carefully) so any other ideas let me know

it prolly broke you can stick it in the freezer for like 5min (it shrinks the plastic a lil bit and brings stuff back together) may fix it

Pull it apart and check to make sure none of the leads/connectors have popped out. If they look ok then start looking for cracks on the PCB's use a magnifying glass and a bright light. Try this before replacing any parts

checked, nothing. ordered a new LCD, hopefully that works. if not, ill have a lot of spare parts(whichever still function obviously theres a problem) and a new LCD for my next psp...
