This is all assuming you dont have one of the unhackable slims. How did you attempt to hack your slim? Pandora kit? HEN -> Recovery Flasher?

Check it's hackable by running HEN and then pspident. If your mobo is TA088v3, bad luck.

For all the newbs just google "rainmms" if you want a MMS for pandora , ChickHEN R2- no pandora battery needed, to be used with Hell Cat's Recovery Flasher 1.60

alright, so...i made a pandora battery. when i put it into the PSP, shouldn't the little green light come on and the screen stay black? it's not doing this, (in fact, nothing happens), and i've followed instructions very carefully on how to correctly make the battery. will it only do this if there is already a MMS in the psp? or...am i just retarded ...? every tutorial video i watch shows the person modding the battery, closing it back up, and then just placing it into the psp and, viola, the little green light is on and the screen is black. do they have a MMS in there? or, is that just supposed to happen with the battery in there by itself?

aaarrghhh, so frustratedddddd

The battery will turn the psp on by itself, if the psp has a hackable mobo. What psp are you trying this on. What firmware are you using?

well, we have a serial# AB02017******** psp slim 2001. its STILL running firmware v.3.95 so to the best of our knowledge its the specific HACKABLE psp. the battery we're using is the official sont 1200mAh.. ive seen mods with the 1800 mostly as the "tool" battery. could this be the problem?

yes. when the psp would stay on long enuf, i tryed installing cfw i even tryed ofw. im sure its a hardware problem thats why i put this question in the hardware section. i was just courous to find out if anyone has any idea what hardware might be screwing up so that i could look for parts and swap them out...

it seems like most of the questions and ancers in this thread are about software so maybe i will start a new thread so my hardware question isnt baryed in here
