A question about updating

Okay, so i recently purchased a 2.01 psp I then found out u could not downgrade so i Returned it i then got a 1.52 when i turned it on i noticed alot of the features are gone like making a picture a background is not possible my web browser is gone and my theme options is also gone, by upgrading to 2.0 do i get these things back AND still be able to use Homebrew
