DIY: Pandora + MMS for $20

I don't know if anyone else has realized this other than me, but both batteries and memory sticks are considered gaming accessories. Go to a game store like GameStop(for me) and buy a battery and mms USED!! Together a battery and 512md MMS cost me around $20 TOGETHER!! (And a discount card could save you more!) The battery was $5! Check it out and happy gaming everyone

What was realy your point of posting this?I think your just telling people about the price of batteries an MS and thats okay but we already kinda knew that.Thx for the info though.

Just felt the info wasn't as widely known as it should have been. I see thread after thread of, "I can't afford a bettery, can anyone do this for me" or "I'm saving for the battery, but I have a few questions..."

It USED to be widely known, but then the inevitable happened;

1 - People got lazy...Instead of trying to learn how to hardmod, they looked for quicker solutions...

2 - Profiteers like one of our forum members started selling pandora batteries and MMS's, solving problem 1.

3 - People like datel started selling naked batteries, leaving people with a need for a MMS...Rather than make one, they use #2.


...And $20 is still a ripoff...Gamestop used to be better than it is. Go to a locally run place, they generally understand that you expect a USED game to sell for a USED GAME price, not $5 cheaper than the new one. Hardware is a joke, I literally saved just $10 buying my sister a used DS lite last fall.
