Want to install CFW on my 1.50 psp fat

Ok, I have done alot of research and stuff and now i know bit about CFW (2 days worth of research.....wow....). i have a PSP-fat 1.50 and i was wondering how do i get it to Dark_Alex's 3.90 CFW. I'm not a total noob when it comes to circutry and computers, but how do i go about doing this? Am i supposed to make a pandora battery? (i already opened my battery no problem... but i wanna be sure before i go through with the process).

Also, do i need any of the official firmwares?

I recomend using pandora because allot of f up stuff can happen if you put CFW on your psp. and the pandora can make a nand back up of your psp if something goes wrong. When you do put CFW on your psp check evrything. Check to see if your umds still work, check you adhoc and wifi. make sure all of that works. and make a copy of your mac address incase it changes. but for now you should do the pandora thing and look for files that can make a nand backup using pandora . O and google in case you don't know what im talking about

Ok, so i'm going to use the easy way out (lol) and use the 14749 Totalnewbieasyinstaller thing. I have a computer running vista and a 4gb pro duo stick. Do you think thats good?

yeah, i bought it a month after it first came out and never touched it since. I only thought about it again after i found it when i moved to a new house and bothered to learn about it. lol. But it's in perfect condition.

Its the BEST one I've found that worked for me.

It worked on my Fat PSP. It is supposed to work on your PSP Slim too.

There yah go. I've been giving this advice other people with your problem have needed. I'm a noob to FW too, so this guide was easy for me so it should be very very easy for you.

in the process of doing that..... i recently read that you should not do the MMS on a Vista machine.... which is a bummer because both of my computers are Vista, this means that i have to lug out my old xp machine and fiddle around with it....
