HELP i have a slim and want to hack it.

Ok here's my issue idk if this is true so i thought id ask you guys.

this person i'm talking to just told me there's a new psp slim that wont read the Pandora battery?
is this true?
I was planning on getting the dealextreme Pandora battery

I heard it works good, but is this true it might not work with my psp slim?
Because I was going to buy it soon.

yup,,the latest psp slim doesnt work with pandora..i think it is because of the motherboard is diff

its only the psp in japan as far as i know
i have a gow psp from the usa and it worked fine

To hack a psp you need to get a sharp object, and it it right at the sweet spot- the middle of the LCD screen. Worth $60. Afterwards, make sure to void the warranty, it looks so badass.

Haha nice, well i haven't hacked a psp yet, but i'm pretty sure that's not the way, plus iv read just about everything i need to know to hack my psp. just didn't know there was a new psp that couldn't be hacked

i've just bought a new psp2004 some 3 weeks back and i modified it with the $10.50 pandora battery from dealextreme and it works fine. i can use the pandora battery as a normal battery by inserting IPL files on my memory stick using PSP GRADER

You got a new psp? did it come with 4.01 on it?

You guys need to realize that NEW does not necessarily mean that it's recently manufactured. That "brand new" psp could have spent 5 months floating between cargo containers and warehouses before finally making it to the store's shelf.

What firmware did it come with? Anything 3.60 or 3.71 is more than likely one of the older, "good" motherboards.
