I know what you mean my used 2 gig memory stick cost 29.99 and thats to much for me a used 4 gig cost 39.99 wich is insane. But think about the new 16 gigs ha a new one cost 120$ i belive im not sure but the price is gastly

ouch...its fake dude..but there is utilities to reformat and repair fakecard..too make it run faster,i guess.

I'm probably too late, but I wrote a post about my happenings with a bad 4GB MS. I was in a bunch of denial and thought it was some other step I hadn't completed. Facts were, I knew the memory stick was a fake and was falsely lead to believe it was completely functional.

What I mean to say is; when I put data on it, it seemed to take it. When I tried to access it (via the psp) it would balk at reading the data. I went back and forth, pissing and whining that there had to be something I was doing wrong...

Nope... Just plain bad MS. So I put in for a replacement of the defective stick and you know how the rest of the story goes.

Just know that you really do get what you pay for. If you gave $20 for a normally $60 item, you are probably going to run into this problem a lot more often than not.
