Default No power (battery or AC) please help

So, I bought a PSP think sweet I'll fix this (only paid $25) and play some God of war, maybe some my little pony or whatever.

So, I popped in the battery it came with and nothing so I plugged in my working battery from another build and nothing. I then plugged in the AC power and also got nothing. No lights no movement of tiny parts nothing.

I used a multimeter to test for current and the AC is good the battery itself is good and the two leads coming off of the AC connector on the inside are all good. So, I did a nice little search and found a few youtube vids with people who have similar problems but they all bought new motherboards to fix the problem (I can't afford to at the moment). But they all pointed out the same thing on the broken motherboard two small soldering at the upper right hand corner of the motherboard, the new ones had some sort of black "chip" or bridge connecting them where as the broken ones were burnt and not bridged.

Could this be the problem and If so would soldering the two points together fix it?

thanks

It's just a blown main power fuse - A simple solder bridge will fix it.

Sounds like the exact same problem I have with my PSP, but can you be a little more specific so that I can try to do this?

I found the largest pic I could of a PSP motherboard and made you a map.

The red circled area are the two points we are referring to. If that black bridge is missing and you only see two solder points it's bridge is missing or popped off. You should be able to apply a tiny bit of solder to bridge them.
