TA-88V3 Motherboard - will it brick?

I'm a newbie here, but I've installed CFW 3.83 and upped to 4.01 M33-2 on both a slim and a phat.

A buddy of mine just purchased a Madden bundle in the US. Since you can't tell the MB from the outside, what will happen if I try to install CFW with a pandora and MMS? Will it just do nothing or will it brick the unit?

It should work as normal but don't blame me if it doesn't work. Actually, nothing will happen I don't think. Still, don't blame me. Check under the battery on the PSP to see which MB it has.

dont work, the pandora proof motherboard isnt in the US yet only in the UK...it'll work fine. and even if it is the mb, it'll just do nothing

You don't understand fully what you just said there. There are TAv3s been vended in the US, it all depends on if the store has sold out of its old modeled PSPs and had to order new packages.
