well, first off, welcome to the forum.
secound, someone else was also having the same problem with their slim battery. do you know someone that has a psp with custom firmware so you can try softmodding it.
also, is it an official sony battery, not a cheap fake one? |

i never had to cut my trace on my slim.i just chipped the entire 5th pin off.perhaps part of the 5th pin is still connected to the battery keeping the connection status.since you got it fixed via a softmod, you may or may not try this method now.i say if its working dont bother.but ya you prolly just didnt get the pin fully chipped off is all.its a bish to chip off sometimes |

I too have a slim, but instead of actually getting the battery open I fried it =\. Guess I'll have to pick up another and follow the tutorial more carefuly, I don't meant to hijack this thread but this is still the same subject. I'd like to know if anyone could give me some tips as to opening my psp slim battery as I have followed the following the Easy Use Pandora Guide and cut as carefully as possible.
Sorry, I'd PM a few people around the boards but I'm too new for that apparantly. |

its alright.
wat you wanna do is take an exacto knife or something sharp, and very slowly and carefully cut around the edges of the battery, make sure not to touch the actual charger part at the top of the battery. once youve cut through most of the plastic, just wedge a flathead screwdriver in and pry open the battery, then u can pandora-ize it
there u go |

Hey from what country is your battery?
I've read some other topics with people having the same problem.
I tried to make my psp s110 1200mAh from japan (was in the psp made in china) a pandora and first i cut the line next to the 19.
after retrying like 10 times i took away the 5th pin and still no difference.
It justs starts normally as if i didnt do anything.
Then i tried connecting 2 points as i saw on a different tutorial, still makes no difference :|
Looks as if theres some pandora proof on the battery, so i ordered a datel red tool battery |
