Smile PSP runs from wall charger, but not from battery. Battery is good

I have three PSPs and two of them work with all three batteries. The one will not work at all on any battery, but will work with the wall charger. Any ideas? Please help

there might be something wrong with the three prongs that connect the bat to ur psp. open up the back of the psp where the bat goes and try using compressed air to clean it out in case thats the prob..

kids in the neighborhood keep breaking them so I have three. Answears would be better, but I agree three is a lot. But two did not cost a dime.

tomaversa's suggestion is a good idea. However if that doesn't work then try this:

Using a magnifying glass, look at the three liitle silver drops of solder at the base
of the three prong connector as you try to wiggle it with your finger. If you notice
any cracks appearing then you need to do some resoldering. You can do this by holding
a sewing needle with a pair of pliers and heating it up with a lighter for about 10 seconds.
Then use the tip to very gently dab the area where you saw the crack. Just be careful
not to press too hard becuase the solder might leak away from the contact points
or, worse, cause a a short.

i suggest making sure if the battery cause is the li ion or?

test it, if it doesnt charge/doesnt power than you may have a bricked battery based on the knowledge that it still has potential...
if you are certain that the battery is indeed in or could be in a working condition...read on,

take a copper wire, a wire gauge suitable for the battery's small prongs. silver colored wires worked for me, not sure about the copper wire's..
just take 1, short wire, cut and expose both ends and then apply each end to the + and - prongs, til you see a small spark... and then try to use it..
