Question psp line of death

Awhile ago a vertical line of pixels showed up o my psp screen. It is called the line of death. I tried to fix it by following this tutorial:

h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH6F4R2U1ys -delete the space between h and t in http because i guess im not allowed to post url's.

But after i put the foil on, and screw my psp back together, the line which should have disappeared is just a little bit more faded. How can i get it to completely go away? Thanks

More pressure maybe? Add a little more.

I tried adding more pressure but it didn't work. It was pretty much the same as before. Should the foil be directly under the line or to the right? Thanks

that's why it's so SOooooo important to buy those expensive little screen protectors. those little plasma screens are just as sensative as a regular plasma screen... and that's why I have a LCD TV although the quality is better on a plasma. I added a lot of pressure and it got rid of mine and I put prottective screens on my mine all after that. and never happened again. they are kind of spendy but worth it.

You need to take the psp apart, which voids warranty. If the line isnt there after the psp is off it could be dead pixels. The PS3 has a blue line on tv's <('.'<) (>'.')>

does downgrading and putting CFW on your psp void your warranty?
