Its much tougher on a phat, I still havent seen any pix of how anyone has done it. The problem is the slot is lower and flipped, there are also way more pieces in the way in a phat.

does the cr3100 work properly on the fat. if it does then you can get the old ata hard drive cord take off 10 wires cut them to the length you need to and solder it. i have no solder skills and i thought it was easy to do. just an idea. if you want proof about the solder i can post pics

it works with the 100. Just whole thing needs to be upside down on 1000.
