I just have finished modding CR-3100 and put in in the UMD drive.
And it still works, wow I have my 30GB PSP...

I would love to do this but I would defintely break my PSP as I have no experience what-so-ever of dismantling my psp. Maybe in the future.

If you're not confident enough, took a picture of your PSP while disassembling PSP. Or took a video.

after reading a bunch of posts on 30gb hdd internals and looking on the internet for larger space for the psp... well to say the least with no avail..
this is a miracle and im going to do it...
im so limited to my 4gb and sometimes when i play a game (GoW) it slows down abit...

to add to this i found a photofast c-9000
its basicly a sata drive but you can put 3 SD HC card in it...
now imagine what you could do with that if there was a sata to MMC card adapter :P
this sata drive can hold up to 200gb
