Default Faceplate help

I'm in the market for a new psp shell

any websites that are cheap and in America, I went to coolmods and found a nifty shell but its going to cost me $70. All I want to do is get rid of my scared psp screen/faceplate and get a clear shell for my psp slim 2001

Why does it have to be in america? I looked at coolmods too, but its a ripoff, I wont support them with prices like that. They want $40 for that dual nub pcb, no way.

If you want a good quality shell for cheap, you wont beat this deal. I really love it and have had zero issues.

Default Faceplate help

haha Thanks guys, I purchased the one off deal extreme (Clear case mod, I was debating either or not I should get the blue or the clear haha) This is my first case mod, is this hard at all?

I took apart my psp all the way until I got the D-Pad buttons off (the board) and then I back tracked and put it all back. Should I be prepared for anything?

EDIT:

How long does it take for Deal Extreme to ship because I'm really anxious about this.

I got a metallic red faceplate from DealExtreme (after I took my PSP apart too many times and stripped the threads in the original one) and it took just over a week to ship. It was a tough wait for me, as I couldn't use my PSP normally until I got the new one. The PSP is designed in such a way that if the faceplate isn't fastened tightly enough to the rest of the assembly the controls tend to go spastic, especially the analog input.

Ive ordered probably 20+ orders from DX. Avg shipping for me to canada has been a week and a half. The clear case swap was my first case as well. It took me awhile, but it wasnt hard at all. The case fit perfect. Just remember you have to remove the metal squares on either side of the usb port and install them in the new case.

I wonder if they will ever have metal faceplates and buttons. Heavy, yes, durable? Hell yeah!
