Default PSP + 8gb question HELP

I got a dirt cheap 256mb duostick.. plenty of room for the data required. plus i can keep it safe & never have to format it..
I agree ebay does indeed have some decent & honest sellers..

Default PSP + 8gb question HELP

Hey guys thanks for the responses

From what I gathered, I can use my 1gb for MMS

So just to make sure buying the 8gb would be okay? Bewood said I could convert it so does that mean I should be good?

Default PSP + 8gb question HELP

thanks again, but i got a fewwwwwwwww more questions lol..sorry

okay so i have a 512 sony memory stick, and from what i gathered i should make that into a MMS just in case my psp bricks, right?

can i still use my 8gb to but games/emulators in it and play it?

also, do i need to keep pandora's battery on the psp to play it or can i use my own once its modded?

Yes you can still use your own 8gb stick

you will have to use your non-pandorized battery to use the PSP though

Unless he has a time machine IPL on the memory stick.

Then he can use pandora or regular.

Default PSP + 8gb question HELP

I have a PSP slim. About a week ago, after owning my PSP for a year, I decided to bite the bullet and see if I could mod it (it also helped that I found out it is impossible to permanently brick a PSP Slim -- is it the same with Fat??). I used an 8 gb card for a MMS and it worked, so to those of you saying it has to be 4 gb or less, that is wrong. I agree with the person who said you should keep an inexpensive 256 mb MMS around for emergencies. If you're careful you'll probably never need it, but at least you've got the reassurance.

The thing that's nice about modding a slim is that after you make the battery a pandora's battery, you can switch it back to a regular one. The whole process took me the better part of an afternoon (getting the battery open was NOT as easy as the tutorials make it look) but it was well worth it.

I'm running 4.01 M33-2. Is it usually best to keep up with the newest firmware in the world of CFW or is it best to stick with a 3.71 or something? It seems like some homebrew doesn't work with newer firmware.

Also looking to upgrade to a 16 gb stick. If anyone knows a good lead on a deal, let me know.
