Sorry bud its not possible, oh btw I purchased one of those $80.00 things and i ordered it 1 week ago and I dont like waiting for it.
See If that were possible other companies would have already done it already, have you ever seen that device
PSP2TV ? that things involves completely tearing apart your psp just so you can add some stuff in it, I'm sure that if they didnt discover it, then its not possible.
Here is a link to the video of it,
WARNING THIS ISNT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!
Dismantle PSP
EDIT: I have managed to do something so high tech you wouldn't believe..........I used my dads video camera and plugged in a seperate cord for audio and I bet that its how psp2tv looks like, it was really cool, but I would rather buy the thing so I could actually play the games and watch the movies.
Oh and if you wanted to do that thing for yourself you better be able to spare a psp or 2.

Well not too long ago my dad got his video camera out so I decided I would play with it, it was amazing when I set it up by plugging in my cords here is what I did.
1. Turned on the camera and set it to record or whatever setting it was so I could watch it.
2.Next I plugged in my dad's camera into my television, it was exactly how you would plug in a ps2 or xbox's video audio cord.
3.Then I set my psp on the ground next to the television and set up the camera to get like a perfect picture of my psp, I had to put a sock underneath the camera so it would stay in place, I had to put the psp's setting to its original picture so that it would be able to fit my tv's screen perfectly.
4.Then I plugged in the video and audio my television, but the only problem was that the camera had a microphone so it heard Everything next to it luckily I found a solution. I happened to find this cord laying around my house to where it plugged into my psp and it directed its audio directly to my television its really cool.
5.So then I spent the day watching family guy the movie off of my psp.
6.Here let me grade it so you can get an idea.
Audio-It was perfect because of that little wire I found so I suggest you find one, Ill get my dad to take a picture of it.
Video-It was like watching tv, I thought it would be degraded but really only thing that was even close to a problem was the fact that the color was a bit dim but thats probably because of the lighting in my house or it was my camera.
Playing- this was the only problem really was that you couldent move the psp so you wouldent be able to play your psp games just watch movies.
Here is the scores
Audio-9
Video-7
Overall-8
as soon as I recieve my pspontv thingy I ordered from Hong Kong I will tell you which one is better.
Oh and I dont really care about this but some people will get on your case because you "Double Posted" but as long as no one reads this thread you should be fine, you wont get in much trouble just some moderator will say
"Dont double post First Warning"
As for when I said you better be able to spare a psp or two I meant that if you try to do something that opens your psp like that psp2tv thing.
EDIT2: Whoah what exactly did you do to your psp? oh and If you really need a new screen this place could help you out
Psp Screens sure its like 90 bucks but I think its worth it.
