Default My PSP Clear case mod problem.

Alright, I finally received my clear case mod for my psp, I have everything removed from my old case and I don't know how to put together the UMD Tray, I have a Slim 2000 Series psp, I would look at my old psp case but the UMD tray broke out a while back when I dropped it and there aren't any springs in it anymore.

Please help.

Are you taking about the hinge spring, or the spring for the part that holds the umd door shut.

for the hinge, all you do is insert the spring with tweezers, straight part goes through the tiny hole in the hinge, then clip on teh plastic piece that retains it. Only fits it one way.

this is how i do it. Make sure the top trim is off. Snap in the part that slides back and forcth then there is a small hole where the top trim was to put the spring in. Just squeeze it and drop it in, then position with a small screwdriver. Just make sure the plastic piece slides back and forth and its springy, and your good.

I lost the orginal spring though, it flung out to the moon, but I managed to take the one out of the old case and put it in.

Yeah I was dorking around with it and just soldered an LED onto the board. Pretty fun. but yeah Seeing a psp that looks like a christmas tree then just one led could be depressing but I don't mind the one led. I'm actually quiet proud of it
