Question Datel MAX Power Battery 1200mAh - Pandora?

Please help if you can.

I have searched all over the interent and this forum loads (because I have decided that this forum rocks!) and loads of places tell me that the Datel MAX Power Battery 1200mAh is pandorable. However, I don't seem to be having much luck Could someone shed anylight on whether or not this can be 'altered' to create a pandora battery or not and if so how do you do it?

Default Datel MAX Power Battery 1200mAh - Pandora?

"-yes, can be pandorable" - WOO HOO!!
I lifted the pin on what i thought to be pin 5 but it doesn't seem to do anything, the psp boots up fine and the magic memory stick just says it is not forated correctly. Any ideas?

(also not fussed about battery life as i have a spare)

P.S Thanks poporo

Because the spare is an original battery that came with the PSP and when i cracked it open it only has a small board and there are pictures of it on here and everybody says it is not pandorable. Therefore i bought this one and an going to keep that one for afterwards.

well, then, if its pandora-able, then make sure that there is absolutely NO connection watsoever between the two points the pin was connected to....

also, you should have just bought a premade pandora battery, they're only 10 bucks....

Well although it may be possable to make a Datel Max Power battery in to a pandora battery, I found that the PCB had no markings and the chip everyone tells you about is not there so I owuld highly recomend the Datel TOOL battery any day. It works rights out the box and I got mine for less than £10! Now just to make a magic memory stick :-)
