Default new ps2 grip for psp CONFIRMED!!

Nyko Technologies ships the Charger Grip for the Sony PSP. The stylish, PS2-like grip includes a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that extends the PSP play time by five hours. PSP fans can now acquire the new Nyko product from retailers nationwide.

The Charger Gripâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s unique design emulates the popular PS2 controller feel, allowing for familiar handling while the ergonomic design reduces strain on hands, permitting a longer and more enjoyable gaming experience. Easy to carry in a backpack or handbag due to its collapsible design, the Charger Grip for PSP is tough, durable and easy to install with an original clip-on design for attachment and removal.

Nykoââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s new accessory features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing players with up to five hours of additional battery life, making it perfect for long trips. The PSP recognizes the Charger Grip as an external battery source allowing the grip to transfer its power to the PSP, recharging the unit. The Charger Gripââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s power is always used first, before the PSPââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s, so users can enjoy extended videogame/movie sessions.

"The most important things about handheld gaming are portability, comfort and battery life. This product addresses all three," said Susan Corben, vice president of marketing, Nyko Technologies. "The new Charger Grip allows customers to play longer and more comfortably without detracting from the portability of the PSP."

The Charger Grip for PSP features:

Ergonomic grip design reduces strain on hands, emulates PS2ââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s popular controller
style
Built-in lithium-ion battery adds an addition five hours to the PSPââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s battery, allowing players to enjoy games for longer periods of time without having to recharge the PSP

Compatible with the existing PSP AC adapter, players can charge the PSP and the Charger Gripâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s simultaneously
Nykoâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Charger Grip is compatible with the standard PSP AC adapter for re-charging and is currently available for $29.99. Visit Nyko.com for a list of retailers.

Default new ps2 grip for psp CONFIRMED!!

Well, if you can find a MOD or a product that let's us connect a PS2 controller directly to the PSP, that might be useful, and I'm not talken about the PSP2TV product either

PSP2TV Product Description :

The TV Adapter for PSP (PSP2TV) lets you hook up your PSP to your home television via Composite or S-Video and Stereo connectors. It also lets you connect and use a PS2 controller on your PSP. The installation requires you to open and modify your PSP console, you need to replace the front face plate with the one included. This device is recommended anyone who wants to play their favorite PSP title on the big screen.

I'm fine with the grip I get with the PSP alone.....no need for an extra accessory
