Problem playing games.

Ok my friend modded my psp for me a little while ago and for some reason some of the games i put on it wont play right. Some of the games start to load but then the psp cuts off and others play perfectly fine. And for some reason when i try to play MHP2G the game freezes at the loading screen if i try to use my old save file but if i delete that file and make a new game it plays fine. Does anyone know whats wrong? oh and my psp has the 3.53 M33 firmware on it if that helps.

Update to 4.01 m33-2 w/ 1.5 kernel addon. Need to be able 3.52 m33-4 then you can update to 4.01 m33. Then 4.01 m33-2 and then the 1.5 kernel.

umm hmm do i need anything special to update it? or do i just download it and put it on the psp and install it?

First download the 500.PBP file that is the OFW and then down load the M33 update.put the two files in the ms0/PSP/game and turn your PSP on then run the 3.52 M33-4 update file

and it is done do it like this in all the updates needed

Okay, now put the 4.01.pbp in the root of your memory stick. "G:\4.01.pbp" And then stick the hellcats recovery flasher into your G:\PSP\Game\Recovery\eboot.pbp Now go into your recovery menu and run the PSP\Game\Recovery\Eboot.pbp and the hellcats recovery should come up.
Once your on it, upgrade to 4.01 M33. Make sure you select 4.01 m33 and not offcial firmware.

And after your done with that, check your firmware since you may be on 4.01 m33-2 after. If your on it then you can skip to the 1.5 kernel installation.

Download that and update your psp to 4.01 m33-2.

PSP Firmware 1.50 Download
To install, download the 1.50.pbp and put it in the root of your memory stick (G:\) download the release archive and copy the "150k_installer" folder to "ms0:/PSP/GAME4XX", and run the program through the PSP

After all this you should be on 4.01 m33-2. It wont say you have the 1.5 kernel addon, but you do have it after you install it so dont worry. All its for is more homebrew compatibility. Also if you have any questions then just post back.
