ok I cut this lead as shown and my psp boots like normal.. LOL.. Anyone want to help a noob out? Thanks I have a Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo 1gb MagicGate Mark2. Can I use this for the firmware update?

So is the picture above not a good referance?

I seen on a site online show 3 ways to mod a battery like mine. The easiest to me was to cut like shown above. How do I know if it works? I dont have the memory card done yet.

Okay, Now I have soddered back the trace I cut and pulled the leg up shown in the video and I put my modded battery back in the psp and I turned it on and it powered up fine. Like if I did nothing. LOL, Now what?

Is it possible to do a Pandora mod on NEW PSP 3k battery. Maybe thats my issue. I have a PSP3k and a PSP2001 GOW and I might be trying to MOD the Battery that came with my PSP3k. I could have gotten the two batteries confused. Or is the mod able to be done on any battery. Thanks
