Pspupdates has posted images of what could be the interface for downloading ps1 games onto the psp. Sony has already annouced they will make a ps1 emulator for the psp, so if this is correct it looks like sony will be charging $15 a game for ps1 games...
Well here is the link to the article on pspupdates.

And here are the pics

Yeah, I think sony maybe shooting themselves in the foot with that one... I mean if you make the games $5 then people will buy lots of them and may not try to pirate them, bcs its just $5... $15 for a game thats 10 years old... not so sure

EDIT: On a side note... this binary talk reminds me of one of my computer science nerd jokes....

"There are 10 types of people in the world, those that can read binary and those that can not." (only funny if you can read binary, and maybe not even then )

I think sony would be more successful in charging a monthly fee allowing gamers infinite access to the ps1 game library during the time period that they have paid for. When your month is up, you either pay for another month or your games expire and are no longer playable.

yeah that sounds like something that they could pull off because there are tons of shitty ps1 games that's simply not worth $15
moneyhungry bastards.

That's cool Drizzle, but like you said, expensive, they should do something like GameTap

Ok since the PS1 didnt have anolg sticks, we wont need an extra one of those. But it did have a L2 and R2. So maybe they can use the analog stick for the directional button. And use the Left Directional and Right Directional pad as L2 and R2.

Just My 1 Cent
