Can I use this one?

I still don't understand a lot of things about CFW, modding, hacking, etc. on the PSP, sorry to be a bother, but if I bought the new (as in, unopened, unused) PSP-2000 on Dell's online store, would I be able to put CFW on it? I'm confused, when it comes to 2000s, because it seems like sometimes, the 2000s are recommended for CFW, but other times, I've seen them called "unhackable"; so, what's the deal, here?

The 2000 are hackable. You can use Chickhen or the Pandora method.

Not entirely true....If its really a new psp (as in recently made) theres a chance its not hackable....Some of the newer slims have the TA-88v3 mobo, which is unhackable via the pandora method, and if it has a firmware above 5.03, it can't be hacked via ChickHEN.
