Random Question whats is 1001b2

Looked at some other psp's today and mine was the only one that said b2 on it...

so question is what is b2 and what was changed?

Under battery say's "Sony(R) PSP-1001b2"

Under UMD is Upside down reversed c1003
Serial number on side just shows reg PSP1001
So any insight into this?

My thinking as was a bundled PSP (got as gift from friend)

Came with Sony 1800mAh (china) Battery & 1GB Mem stick And orig firmware following serial number is 2.0 (even though my psp is rude and say's FU

i guess the version of the psp only difference is the Motherboard change.
