Default My PSP got messed up please help :(

PSP-2001
Official Firmware: 5.51
(No Pandora Battery)

Ok this is what happened i had my PSP Battery cover off and i was importing a THEME for my psp and while i was putting it my psp (i already had it on my psp just installed it) and while it said don't unplug or anything like that my battery had fell out and ever since i would go and turn it on the PSP Logo will come up and the little wavy thing will show up along with the time and date but that's it and it will stay like that for 10-20 seconds and then it'll shut off by itself!

How do i fix this problem? Cause i really miss my PSP lol

(Oh forgot to mention that i can't go into the settings or any other things just turns off and can't do anything)

remove your battery and your memory card.
then insert ONLY your battery and switch it on. it should come on as normal.
you can use a card reader to delete the custom theme files via your pc.
you may also choose to insert the card after you have turned on the psp and delete the custom theme files, all of them.
let me know if this helps.

read the problem well. his battery fell off while importing a custom theme. all i think he has to do is remove the memory card and power on the psp.

The Pandora Battery for PSP 2000 allows you to load CFW (custom firmware) with the aid of a magic memory stick onto your PSP 2000 system.

Features:

PSP 2000 (slim) battery form factor - can also be used on PSP 1000 in pandora mode
Unique pandora battery - normal battery switch
4-LED indicator displays current battery charge state and mode
To switch mode to Pandora: push button on battery for 10 seconds, LED flashes indicating pandora mode
To switch mode to Normal mode: while in Pandora mode (LED flashing), push button again to return to normal mode (LED goes off)
Factory pre-modifed as Pandora battery
When plugged into an PSP, enables developer/recovery mode in PSP - Allows recovering from bad ROM flashes and other bricks
Requires magic memory stick (not included)
Note: this pandora battery forces PSP to enter recovery mode every time the PSP is turned on. Because the pandora feature can be digitally turned on and off, this battery can also serve as a normal battery for playing games

Steady on, depending on what motherboard your PSP has you might not be able to install custom firmware. Do you remember what firmware it originally came with before you updated to 5.51?

EDIT: ihateu, if you're going to have something in huge letters in your signature, can you atleast frigging spell it correctly. B-R-I-C-K.

It's the "leet" spelling crap that I hate... which i hope doesn't happen to the scene... what happened to psp being targeted at 16-34 yo's

where we have enough sense to not be corrupted by complete idiocy (sometimes fit's of minor idiocy is okay though)

And if it work's on the 1000 series does that mean it sticks out the back of slim? (possibly 1000 as well?)

May be upgrading my Pandora to this if not to just steal the status indicator lol

The absolute most annoying thing i see is people typing '2' instead of 'to'. You're on a full keyboard, and it's one extra frigging key.
