hack psp 1001 with no pandora?

Hi,

is there anyway I can hack my psp, and put cfw on it, so that I can play gba and psp roms on it? I do not have a pandora battery, only the battery that came with the psp and a memory stick.

ofw 5.51, 1001.

Hmm, trying to decide between trading in the psp for ds or trying to hack the psp. If I get a pandoras battery is there a guide or some tutorial for 5.51?

for 5.51 and a original psp, then Pandora battery and magic memory stick are Required, but you can use your own memory stick, you don't need to buy another one. the MMS can be used as a normal one.

for mms... im sure you can find a premade one (google is your friend) and you can use a old duo for it (need's be at least 64mb iirc but best imo would be a 256)

but if you turn your only battery into a pandora you can use it as a reg battery again if you don't cut leg in half
just lift the leg up (you can find guides online) and to turn back just push leg down and secure it
